The Rocky Mountain Conference follows the North American Division policies and guidelines for child protection training and requires every local congregation to obtain a formal background check through Verified Volunteers for all elected/appointed officers and ministry leaders, as well as any volunteer who works with children. We realize that our children are our treasure, and we want to be intentional about how our local ministry leaders and volunteers communicate that in word and deed.

STEPS to complete training and a background check:

  1. Go to Verified Volunteers and click the button that says, "First-Time Registrant"

  2. Select "Mid-America" from the drop-down list.

  3. Select "Rocky Mountain Conference" from the drop-down list.

  4. Create your account

  5. Proceed through the screens selecting the appropriate options as you go.
